The Thomas John Jones Memorial Fund

Supporting the future of Welsh engineering.

A fund for students living and educated in Breconshire, Merthyr Tydfil, and Blaenau Gwent to support their study of engineering at undergraduate, HND, or postgraduate level.

The former county of Breconshire includes the area of South Powys which includes the areas of Penderyn now in RCT, Cefn-coed-y-cymmer, Llwyn-onn, Pontsticill, Vaynor and Trefechan now in Merthyr Tydfil, Princetown and Llechryd now in Caerphilly, Clydach, Llanelly, and Gilwern now in Monmouthshire. The Fund also now covers the entire county of Blaenau Gwent.

NEWS! We are delighted to announce that our remit has now increased to include students from Merthyr Tydfil and Blaenau Gwent. Please help us spread the word!

A NOTE ON COVID-19: In these uncertain times, we would like to encourage applications even more strongly. The precise set-up of your time at university may be unclear, but we are still there to assist. We do not foresee any delay to grant-making, but thank all our scholars and applicants for their patience.
